(More customer reviews)Maybe it is my receiver, the calibration, or the room's acoustics, but I really expected better from Klipsch. The surround signals come through somewhat weak and are drowned out by the front speakers. The instructions will tell you to mount these 5-7 feet from the floor, behind/on either side of the listening area. I could barely hear them at that height. I ended up moving them down slightly above ear level while seated.

The RS-10 surround loudspeaker offers the same advanced technology and world-class materials as the Reference III surrounds but from a smaller enclosure and at a more affordable price. It delivers precise sonic detail through the careful positioning of two Tractrix horn loaded titanium-dome tweeters and one 4-inch woofer. By aligning the two horns at 90 degrees with respect to each other, along with the front-firing woofer, the RS-10 smoothly covers a 180-degree horizontal arc, allowing maximum placement flexibility. This unique Wide Dispersion Surround Technology delivers a new dimension of reality and convenience, and produces a smooth, seamless broad distribution of sound, which is the perfect vehicle for every surround format. The 4-inch woofer features Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored cerametallic material.
The crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. The RS-10 comes with a back-panel keyhole for on-wall mounting and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets.
