(More customer reviews)Besides sounding very clear and not overly warm these in-ceiling speakers are very easy to install. Most in-ceiling speakers do not have a tuned enclosure. These do. My last home install required a week of work just making enclosures and tuning them. Guess what...your attic or subfloor does not make a great tuned enclosure. Like everything....these are made in China but sound better than the in-ceiling speakers I've auditioned in their price range. If you like a warm sound these are not for you. But if your musical preference is accurate sound you won't be disappointed. I use a Denon 3311 to power them and a velodyne optima 8" subwoofer for the lows. This is a good match. When I tie in my ipod to the system the music is very good and on HiDef radio they also sound great. I did not give them a five because they are not the ultimate in-ceiling speakers (major bucks). However I own a $45,000+ home audio system with Wilson watt/puppy 7 speakers and this is what I am comparing them to. Pretty good if you know your home audio stuff. Amazon Prime did not offer these so I purchased them from another source(Cru........). NOTE: I did not do a A/B comparison as these speakers are located at my 2nd home, but I do have a good ear for quality sound and these are a winner. Also please remember that musical preference differs amoung prople so you should audition these for yourself.
