When that didn't happen, I needed a headset with separate plugs for input and output and all I had were a set of headphones that came with my Google Nexus One. After looking at several expensive headsets I saw this splitter that would allow me to use my current gear with the computer equipment available to me for a fraction of the price. The adapter works great with crisp, clear sound both on the in and out, though I suspect this will vary based on what hardware you use along with it. It shipped and arrived promptly, so I am overall quite happy with the purchase.
